Common questions
How much SIP for 1 crore?
It depends on the years and return. At 12% a year, about Rs 43,000 a month over 10 years or about Rs 10,000 a month over 20 years.
Why does starting early help?
More months of compounding means a smaller monthly amount for the same goal.
Should I include inflation?
Yes. A goal of Rs 1 crore in 20 years buys much less than today, so plan for a larger goal.
